I'm Andy Kobosko, hands on kind of guy; I started installing hurricane shutters
more than thirteen years ago with a major company (they bought Wrol-up Shades and shutters). I truly love installing shutters; this helped me reach a position of managing all the installers in Palm Beach County for that company. My biggest problem is that I'm a perfectionist; I've never learned to accept anything but perfect work. There was only one installer with "Guardian Storm Protection" when I started (me). It's difficult to hire, train and keep excellent installers; I spend a good portion of my time in the field every day maintaining our quality.
Word of mouth referrals and lots of hurricanes have resulted in my now having some excellent crews. I don't want to lose a single one of them. Now is the time you get fast delivery and low prices. I don't know when the next hurricane will hit our area but I'm sure you'll want shutters when it does. Accordion shutters
offer the easiest protection
but we have all types. People always want the lowest price, I'm the same way. Whenever we give a quote we take into consideration all the factors at that time; our cost, our scheduling back log, - the competition - all the factors of your specific job and we give you the lowest price we can and still make enough to stay in business long term.
People think that the storms that hit our area were really bad, but compared to an "Andrew" or a "Katrina" they were small. You invest in shutters to protect your family and home, You might not need it this year but when you do, it could be a matter of life and death. Make sure you know the difference between a quality shutter and a cheap one, a quality installation or a poor one. The only way to evaluate a shutter job is to have a professional show you the difference between a good value and a low priced nightmare. We will be happy to show you jobs we have done in your area, more than 90% of our work comes from referrals. See our Communities
section for photos and a partial list of communities. Most important they referred us to their friends, relatives, neighbors and business associates.
Guardian Storm Protection Crews are not subcontractors. They are uniformed, work for us and drive our trucks. Even more important I train and supervise all our crew chiefs and I will personally stand behind all of our installations. If you think you can find a better value, call me and I'll personally visit your home and show you how we can do better...
